Entry Exams for 2020 are open

The entry exams for both our Bachelor Programme in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design, and our Master in Design with respective specialisations are open for applications for the next upcoming study year.

Oslo Architecture Triennale workshop

Schools from around the world and across disciplines are invited to participate in a global dialogue and knowledge-sharing experiment, as part of the Oslo Architecture Triennale. The overall theme of the Triennale, ‘Degrowth’, is addressed in the workshop by assessing a spectrum of societal and professional attitudes towards the already existing built environment.

Designers Saturday Awards Best Talents 2019

Mari Koppanen, who graduated from Master of Design at KHiO in the spring of 2019, won both the 1st and 2nd award during the DS Awards Best Talents 2019.

DS Academy Opening Ceremony

Official opening ceremony of the most notable design event in Norway, Designers’ Saturday, takes place in KHiO on Friday. This also sets the beginning for DS Academy, where all Norwegian design schools meet the more forward-looking companies, including several events over the weekend.

Best in Show, Mari Koppanen: ‘We grew together’

Mari Koppanen’s MA-project has been chosen as the Best Project of the year with award of 20 000 NOK by FKDS. The jury states that Koppanen’s has a thorough investigation into contemporary design practices that addresses material sustainability, craft heritage and cultural misappropriation.

Martine Scheen wins the Statsbyggs Student Award 2019

The award is aimed to encouraging an experimental and innovative approaches in spatial and furniture design amongst future generations of interior architects. Statsbygg student award is 20 000 NOK.

BA & MA Graduation Exhibition
