Ospers
The project has become a proposal for how we can use a natural resource. The project has become a proposal for how we can use a natural resource. The design is made on the tree's premises and with regards to the wood's qualities and properties. The project is designed not only to solve a problem but to highlight a very contemporary and complex challenge. The intention of the project is to give Aspen a potential for use and a value. It has been important to look at resource utilization through tools, not just how the wood is used but how the whole tree can be used in the process. The project is defined as a three-part cycle. The three parts are: oyster harvesting, preparation of oyster and serving oysters. In all these parts, the Aspen and its qualities have a central and decisive role. Through this approach, the oyster becomes the method for giving aspen a function. The three parts consists of two tools each, all of them compiled by aspens qualities.
