The course investigates the cultural and societal contexts for our design operations . We use the Oslo, and even more closely the Grünerlocka district as the framework to question what could be the post-hipster life-forms and how do our design interventions engage and guide those activities. The students are asked to explore the common thematics through their own chosen resolution and to continuously refocus the definition of their design approach. This years outcomes spanned from questioning the policy making of the national landmarks to ambiguous seating instruments.
