Live Spaces Design Colloquium
Spring 2015
- Students:
Toni Kauppila, Maziar Raein
Live Spaces will look at built environments and the ever more complex challenges within interior architecture. The Colloquium wishes to contribute to the discourse of the contemporary spatial design profession. Interior architecture is equally part of the paradigm shift in the design and built environment practices that are facing the ever more complex undertakings. This ongoing development not only questions the conventional definitions of our discipline, but also challenges the ways we need to operate and educate in the future.
The Colloquium invited well-known international speakers as well as exhibiting current student work to address the theme in a 2-day event. The guest lecturers were Jonathan Hill from UCL London, Lois Weinthal from Ryerson Toronto and Birger Sevaldson from AHO Oslo.
